Full details
The Tinéo Baby Travel Mattress in White is designed for parents seeking a portable and comfortable sleeping solution for their baby. Its key benefit is its foldable design, making it ideal for travel or as a convenient extra bed. A minor consideration is its 4 cm thickness, which provides comfort for naps but may be less substantial for long-term, primary use. This mattress offers practicality with a washable cover and easy transportability.

FAQs
What are the dimensions of the mattress when unfolded?
When unfolded, the mattress measures approximately 120 cm x 60 cm. This is a standard size for a single baby mattress.
Can this mattress be used as a permanent cot mattress?
While comfortable for naps and travel, the 4 cm thickness is generally intended for supplementary use. For long-term, primary cot use, a thicker mattress is usually recommended.
How often should I wash the cover?
It is recommended to wash the cover as needed, typically when visible stains occur or for regular hygiene maintenance. Aim to wash it every few weeks or after any significant spills.
What is the density of the mattress foam?
The mattress has a density of 900 g/m³, providing a good balance of comfort and support for napping.
Is the mattress waterproof?
The mattress core is not waterproof. Only the removable cover is washable. It is recommended to use a separate waterproof mattress protector if you are concerned about significant liquid exposure.
What is the warranty period for this mattress?
This Tinéo baby mattress comes with a 2-year guarantee from the date of purchase.
Where is this mattress made?
This mattress is proudly made in France by Tinéo in Angers.
Troubleshooting
Mattress does not lie flat
Ensure the mattress is fully unfolded and has been out of its packaging for a short period to allow the foam to regain its shape. Place a flat, firm object on it briefly if needed.
Cover is difficult to remove or reattach
Gently slide the cover off. When reattaching, ensure the mattress core is positioned correctly within the cover and pull the fabric taut.
Odour upon arrival
This is normal for new foam products. Unfold the mattress and allow it to air out in a well-ventilated area for 24-48 hours before first use. The smell should dissipate.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unfold the mattress. Ensure it lies flat on a stable surface. The mattress is ready for use once unfolded.
Compatibility: This mattress is designed to be versatile. It can be used on its own on a flat surface, placed inside a travel cot, or used within a playpen. It measures 60 x 60 x 8 cm when folded and approximately 120 x 60 cm when unfolded (standard single mattress dimensions). Always ensure it fits securely and does not leave gaps in any intended sleeping environment.
Care: The cover is removable and machine washable at 30 °C. Wash the cover separately from any other items. Allow the cover to dry completely before placing it back on the mattress. The mattress core itself should not be immersed in water; spot clean any spills with a damp cloth and allow to air dry thoroughly.
