Yes, they generally follow standard sizing conventions. If you typically wear a specific UK size in leather sneakers, it is recommended to stick with that size.
While inspired by basketball heritage, the 480 is designed for lifestyle and casual use and lacks the advanced technical features required for competitive court performance.
Regularly clean with a damp cloth and use a leather protector spray to guard against stains and water damage.
Yes, the OrthoLite inserts are designed to be removable, allowing you to air them out or swap them for custom orthotics if needed.
Leather will naturally soften and conform to your foot shape after a break-in period, but it will not stretch significantly if the initial fit is correct.
Yes, the combination of the supportive heel counter and OrthoLite cushioning makes them highly comfortable for extended periods of walking and casual activity.
Gently rub the area with a specialized leather eraser or a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water.
Remove the OrthoLite insoles and allow them to air dry in a well-ventilated area, or replace them if necessary.
Replace with standard athletic laces of the same length to maintain the secure fit of the saddle.
Because these trainers feature a leather upper, proper maintenance is required to preserve their appearance. Wipe down the leather with a soft, damp cloth after wear to remove surface dust or dirt. For deeper cleaning, use a dedicated leather cleaner and a soft-bristled brush. Avoid submerging the shoes in water or placing them in a washing machine, as this can damage the leather finish and affect the glue integrity of the sole. To ensure compatibility, verify your UK size against your existing footwear, as the New Balance 480 maintains a standard fit suitable for most foot widths.
