No, due to the silk content and tailored structure, professional dry cleaning is recommended to avoid shrinkage or damage.
The jacket features an integrated self-fabric belt designed to stay with the garment for a consistent silhouette.
Pair it with slim-fit trousers or high-quality denim and a simple camisole to balance the formal nature of the tailoring.
The compact stretch fabrication is designed to resist heavy creasing, making it ideal for long days, though light steaming may be needed after travel.
The jacket is cut for a structured fit. If you prefer to layer thicker items underneath, you may want to consider your standard sizing or a slightly more relaxed fit.
Use a low-heat steamer while holding the fabric taut to smooth out creases without damaging the material.
Avoid contact with rough jewelry or abrasive surfaces; if a snag occurs, consult a professional tailor rather than pulling the thread.
To maintain the structural integrity and finish of this garment, avoid machine washing. Given the silk material, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended. When storing, ensure the jacket is kept on a contoured hanger to prevent shoulder misshaping. Because of the wrap-front closure, it is best styled with high-waisted bottoms to ensure the belt sits correctly at the narrowest part of the torso. Avoid using heavy pins or brooches on the fabric to prevent snagging or permanent marks in the silk blend.
