Troubleshooting

Bed squeaks or creaks

Ensure all components are securely fastened. Check that the divan base is on a level surface. If the issue persists, it may be related to the mattress springs and rotating the mattress may help.

Divan drawers not closing properly

Check for obstructions in the drawer runners. Ensure the drawers are correctly seated and aligned. Avoid overfilling the drawers.

Mattress feels uneven after some use

Rotate the mattress head-to-toe regularly as recommended. Ensure you are rotating, not flipping, the non-turn mattress.

New bed has a slight odour

This is common with new mattresses and fillings. Ensure the room is well-ventilated for the first few days. The odour should dissipate over time.

Pros and Cons

  • Convenient non-turn mattress design simplifies maintenance.
  • Multiple storage options available with the divan base.

Cons

  • Mattress is non-turn, requiring regular rotation for even wear.
  • Matching headboard is sold separately.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup:

  1. Ensure you have selected the correct size (Single, Small Double, Double, or King).
  2. Unpack the mattress and allow it to expand to its full size as per manufacturer instructions (typically 24-48 hours).
  3. Position the divan base in your desired location. If storage drawers are included, ensure they are correctly inserted.
  4. Place the mattress centrally on the divan base.

Compatibility:

  • The set includes both the divan base and mattress. A matching headboard is available separately and should be compatible with divan bed fixings.
  • Standard bedding (sheets, duvars, pillows) will fit the specified mattress sizes.

Care:

  • Mattress: Since this is a non-turn mattress, regularly rotate it head-to-toe every 2-3 months to ensure even wear and prolonged comfort. Vacuum the mattress surface periodically with a soft brush attachment to remove dust.
  • Divan Base: Wipe the fabric clean with a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or excessive moisture. Ensure drawer runners are kept free of debris for smooth operation. FSC® certification indicates responsible sourcing of timber for the base.
