FAQs

Is this top suitable for winter?

It serves best as a lightweight layering piece during mild weather or as a primary layer for indoor training.

What does the size XL represent?

This specific item is sized for children aged 9-10 years.

Can I iron this top?

It is not recommended to iron technical sports fabrics as high heat can damage the synthetic fibers.

Does the zipper chafe the chin?

The zip is designed to be low-profile, but it is best to zip it fully down if the child finds the collar distracting.

Will the color fade?

The fabric is color-fast, but washing in hot water or using harsh detergents may lead to premature dulling of the pink hue.

Troubleshooting

Fabric feels damp after activity

Ensure the top is not being worn as a base layer under non-breathable waterproof jackets.

Stains not coming out in the wash

Pre-treat the affected area with a mild stain remover before the next wash cycle.

Pros and Cons

Extremely lightweight and breathable material
Versatile 1/2-zip design for temperature regulation

Cons

No zippered pockets for secure storage

Setup, Compatibility & Care

As a technical apparel item, the Under Armour Tech 1/2 Zip Top does not require special setup. To maintain the integrity of the fabric:

Washing: Machine wash on a cool, gentle cycle with like colors.
Drying: Air dry or tumble dry on low heat to prevent fabric degradation.
Avoid: Do not use bleach or fabric softeners, as these can compromise the moisture-wicking finish.
Compatibility: It fits true to size for children aged 9-10 (XL).
