The Salomon Aero Flw GTX trainers are designed for adult males seeking a lightweight, comfortable, and versatile shoe for mixed terrain activities. They offer a secure fit and reliable grip, making them suitable for transitions from asphalt to trails. A key caveat is that while waterproof, they may not be ideal for extreme, prolonged submersion.

Yes, the Salomon Aero Flw GTX trainers are designed for versatility and offer good grip and support for hiking on various terrains, from trails to gravel.
You can wipe the QuickLACE cord and lock with a damp cloth. Ensure no dirt or mud is obstructing the mechanism.
No, machine washing is not recommended as it can damage the materials and the GORE-TEX membrane. Clean by hand with a damp cloth.
The GORE-TEX membrane provides waterproofing, keeping your feet dry from external moisture while allowing some breathability.
Pull the laces to tighten and push the lock mechanism down. To loosen, pull the other end of the lace or release the lock mechanism.
They offer good grip and a lightweight feel suitable for trail running, especially on mixed or less technical terrain. For highly technical trails, consider specialized trail running shoes.
Ensure the QuickLACE mechanism is clean and free of debris. Check that the cord is properly seated in the lock.
This could be due to sweat rather than external moisture. Ensure you are using appropriate moisture-wicking socks. Check for any damage to the GORE-TEX membrane. If water is entering, clean the shoe and allow it to air dry completely.
Adjust the QuickLACE system for a more personalized fit. Ensure you are wearing the correct size and consider using different socks. Break in the shoes gradually.
Setup: These trainers are ready to wear out of the box. The primary setup involves adjusting the QuickLACE system for your optimal fit.
Compatibility: Designed for adult males, suitable for a UK size 8 foot. Compatible with various sock types, though moisture-wicking socks are recommended for optimal performance with the GORE-TEX membrane.
