FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for sports?

They are ideal for casual sports and daily activities, though not specifically designed for high-performance athletics like long-distance running.

How do I clean the white sections?

Use a mild soap solution with a soft cloth and wipe gently, then allow them to air dry naturally.

Is the material waterproof?

The upper is water-resistant due to the leather components, but it is not fully waterproof.

Can the laces be replaced?

Yes, you can replace the provided laces with standard trainer laces if they become frayed.

Are these true to size?

Yes, the adidas VL Court 3.0 generally fits true to standard UK children's sizing.

Troubleshooting

Shoes feel too tight across the midfoot

Adjust the lacing tension at the eyelets to allow for more volume across the arch.

Visible scuffs on the leather upper

Use a specialized leather cleaner or a soft eraser to gently buff away minor scuffs.

Insole feels worn after long-term use

Consider inserting a high-quality aftermarket child's cushioned insole to refresh the comfort level.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longest lifespan for your adidas VL Court trainers, follow these care steps:

Cleaning: Gently wipe the leather parts with a damp cloth. For the textile sections, use a soft-bristled brush to remove dried dirt or dust.
Drying: Always air-dry the shoes at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators, as these can warp the leather and rubber components.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material fading.
Compatibility: These trainers fit true to size. If your child wears thick socks, consider sizing up to ensure comfort.
