FAQs
Are these gloves waterproof?
The Roeck-Grip Winter Gloves are designed for warmth and breathability, not as a waterproof garment.
Can these be used for other winter sports?
While designed for riding, the grip and warmth make them suitable for general activities, though they are optimized specifically for rein handling.
How should I measure my child's hand for these gloves?
Measure around the knuckles of the dominant hand, excluding the thumb, and refer to the Roeckl sizing chart to match the children's UK sizing.
Will the gloves stretch out over time?
The high-quality elastic materials are designed to retain their shape, but they will form to the hand's contours for a better fit over time.
Is the fleece lining removable?
No, the Micro Bemberg fleece lining is integrated into the glove construction.
Troubleshooting
Loss of grip on the reins
Check for debris or dust buildup on the grip surface and wash the gloves according to care instructions to restore the tackiness.
Gloves feeling too stiff after washing
Ensure you are using a gentle detergent and avoid fabric softeners, which can coat the grip material and reduce performance.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Roeckl gloves, follow these guidelines:
- Sizing: Verify the size by measuring the circumference of the hand at the knuckles. A proper fit is essential for the second-skin feel.
- Wrist Adjustment: Secure the adjustable latch firmly enough to block drafts, but loose enough to maintain circulation.
- Cleaning: Machine wash at 30 degrees Celsius (86 degrees Fahrenheit). Use a gentle cycle to preserve the synthetic leather grip material.
- Drying: Air dry only. Do not place on radiators or in direct sunlight, as high heat can degrade the elasticity and material texture.
