While the cotton is durable, it is not specifically designed for outdoor use and prolonged exposure to sun and moisture may damage the fabric. It is best suited for indoor environments.
Ensure you have purchased the correct size cushion cover for your insert. Check the dimensions of both carefully. Insert the cushion pad gently and evenly.
Gently try to move the zipper back and forth. Check for any fabric caught in the zipper teeth. Apply a small amount of graphite pencil lead or wax to the teeth to help it glide.
Ensure you are washing at 30 degrees Celsius as recommended. Using harsh detergents or washing at higher temperatures can cause fading. Consider air drying instead of tumble drying.
This can sometimes happen with 100% cotton. A low-heat tumble dry or a gentle iron may help restore softness. Ensure you are using a mild detergent.
Setup: To use the Homescapes Cotton Gingham Check Cushion Cover, simply open the zip fastening and insert your chosen cushion insert (sold separately). Ensure the insert is adequately plumped for the best aesthetic.
