Polyvine Wood Dye is an ideal solution for DIY enthusiasts and professionals seeking a high-quality, even finish on interior and exterior wood surfaces including hardwood, softwood, MDF, and plywood. The primary benefit of this water-based, low-odour formula is its deep penetration and streak-free application, though users should note that the 45-minute drying time requires careful planning during multi-coat projects.

Ensure you maintain a 'wet edge' while applying and work quickly across the surface to prevent the dye from drying before the next stroke.
Apply an additional coat of the wood dye to deepen the saturation, allowing the recommended drying time between layers.
Check that the wood has been sanded properly to an even finish and that no leftover wax or varnish is blocking penetration.
Before application, ensure the wood surface is clean, dry, and free of wax or oil. Stir the dye thoroughly before use. Apply the product using a brush, cloth, or sponge, following the direction of the wood grain for the best penetration. Between coats, a light sanding may be performed if necessary. Cleanup is simple: wash your brushes and tools with soap and water immediately after use. Always store in a cool, dry place and ensure the lid is tightly sealed to maintain the product's longevity.
