Setup, Compatibility & Care
Wearing Tips
- Find Your Rise: The low-rise is designed to sit on or below your hips. Adjust the jeans to find your most comfortable position.
- Consider Length: The wide-leg is designed to drape. Ensure the length works with your preferred footwear. If they are too long and drag, consider professional hemming for a custom fit.
- Utilize Belt Loops: Use a belt to fine-tune the waist fit, especially with a low-rise, or to add a stylish accessory.
Compatibility
- Tops: Cropped tops, tucked-in t-shirts, fitted blouses, and bodysuits balance the volume of the wide-leg. Oversized sweaters and jackets can create a relaxed, layered look.
- Outerwear: Short jackets (e.g., denim, leather bombers), trench coats, or long cardigans complement the silhouette.
- Accessories: Bold belts, statement jewelry, and various bag styles can enhance the overall outfit.
Care Instructions (General Denim Care)
Following these guidelines will help maintain the quality, color, and shape of your denim jeans. Always check the specific care label inside the garment for exact instructions, as material blends can vary.
- Washing: Wash sparingly and inside out to preserve color. Use cold water (30°C / 86°F) on a gentle cycle with similar colors. Avoid washing with items that have zippers or embellishments that could snag the denim.
- Detergent: Use a mild detergent. For dark denim, consider detergents formulated to protect dark colors. Do not use bleach, as it can damage the fabric and cause discoloration.
- Drying: To prevent shrinkage and maintain shape, air dry by hanging or laying flat. If using a dryer, tumble dry on the lowest heat setting for a short period and remove while still slightly damp.
- Ironing: Iron on a low setting if needed. Iron the jeans inside out to protect the color and finish.
- Stain Removal: Address stains promptly using a gentle stain remover suitable for denim, following product instructions.
