FAQs
Are these slides suitable for everyday wear?
Yes, they are comfortable for casual everyday wear, especially during warmer months or for indoor use. However, they are primarily designed for activities involving water and quick drying.
How do I determine the correct size for my child?
Consult the adidas sizing guide provided with the product listing or on the official adidas website. Measure your child's foot from heel to toe and compare it with the chart.
Can these slides be machine washed?
It is not recommended to machine wash these slides, as it can damage the materials and adhesive. Hand washing with mild soap and water is the preferred method.
Do these slides offer arch support?
The Adilette Aqua Slides feature a contoured footbed for comfort, but they do not provide significant built-in arch support. They are best suited for casual wear and water activities rather than extended walking or athletic performance.
What is the material of the Adilette Aqua Slides?
The slides are made from synthetic materials, including a one-piece moulded synthetic upper, synthetic lining, and synthetic outsole.
How long does it take for the footbed to dry?
The quick-dry cushioning is designed to dry very rapidly. Typically, after exposure to water, they should feel dry to the touch within minutes when air-dried.
Troubleshooting
Slides feel slippery when wet
Ensure the sole and the surface are not excessively wet and smooth. For safety, avoid wearing on highly polished or wet indoor floors.
Footbed feels stiff after drying
This is normal. Wear them for a short period, and the material will soften again with body heat and movement.
Material has a slight odor
This can happen with synthetic materials. Clean with mild soap and water, and air dry thoroughly. Adding baking soda to the cleaning water can help neutralize odors.
Slides are too tight or too loose
Refer to the sizing chart for accurate measurements. The slip-on design should offer a snug but comfortable fit without being constricting.
