The 740 trainers are designed with a standard fit. While the bungee laces allow for some adjustability, they may not be ideal for children requiring a distinctly wide-fit shoe.
Gently clean the mesh with a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh scrubbing or soaking the shoes.
While designed for durability, if the bungee laces do wear out, they can typically be replaced with standard shoelaces or new bungee cords designed for footwear.
The primary advantage is the ease of use for children, allowing them to put on and take off their shoes quickly and independently, while still providing a secure fit.
These trainers feature an open knit mesh upper, which offers breathability but is not waterproof. They are best suited for dry or mildly damp conditions.
These trainers are designed for kids, particularly those who benefit from easy-to-use closures and a comfortable, stylish shoe for daily activities.
Gently pull on the ends of the laces and slide the toggle. If it's very stiff, try wiggling it slightly while pulling.
Wipe down with a damp cloth after each use to prevent dirt from setting in. Focus on the mesh and overlays.
Ensure the bungee laces are tightened evenly on both sides and that the toggle is secured. Try adjusting the lace length if possible.
Setup:
These trainers come ready to wear. Simply remove them from the box. The bungee lace system is pre-set, but can be adjusted for a more personalized fit by loosening or tightening the toggles.
Compatibility:
The New Balance 740 Bungee Lace Trainers are designed for casual wear and light athletic activities. They are compatible with various children's outfits, from athletic shorts to casual trousers.
