The New Balance 740 comes ready to wear with a standard lacing system, allowing for a customizable lockdown. To ensure longevity, keep the mesh upper free of debris by gently brushing it with a soft-bristled brush. For deeper cleaning, spot clean with mild detergent and water, then allow the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources, which can warp the cushioning materials. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use to preserve the integrity of the textile and synthetic components.
