The Regatta Matt II men's hiking jacket is designed for adult males seeking reliable protection during outdoor activities. Its key benefit is providing waterproof and breathable comfort through Isotex 10000 polyester fabric with taped seams. A potential caveat is that while breathable, extreme activity might still lead to some internal moisture build-up for certain individuals. This jacket features a mesh lining for enhanced ventilation, a packaway adjustable hood, multiple secure pockets, and adjustable hem and cuffs for a personalized fit.

Isotex 10000 indicates that the fabric provides a hydrostatic head (waterproofness) of 10,000mm and a breathability rating of 10,000g/m²/24hrs, making it suitable for moderate to heavy rain and good for active use.
The jacket is primarily designed for waterproofing and windproofing. For very cold weather, it is recommended to wear insulating layers underneath, such as a fleece or down jacket.
Wash at 30°C using a technical wash like Regatta Isotrak. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. Tumble dry on low heat or line dry. Do not iron.
No, the hood is not detachable, but it can be packed away into the collar when not in use.
It is ideal for hiking, trekking, walking, and general outdoor activities where protection from rain and wind is needed.
This specific model description does not mention pit zips. Ventilation is primarily provided by the breathable fabric and mesh lining.
Warranty information is typically provided by the retailer at the point of purchase or on the brand's official website. Please refer to your purchase documentation for details.
Ensure taped seams are intact. Re-apply DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment if performance has degraded. Check care label for correct washing procedures.
Ensure the garment is clean; dirt and oils can clog the membrane. Check that vents (if any) are open. Consider the layering system; excess internal layers can contribute to moisture.
Gently clean the zipper teeth with a damp cloth and a soft brush. Apply a silicone-based lubricant or wax to the zipper teeth.
Ensure the drawcords are fully extended and then tightened correctly. Check for any obstructions in the hood channels.
Setup: The Regatta Matt II jacket requires no complex setup. It is ready to wear out of the package. Ensure all zippers are functional before use.
Compatibility: This jacket is designed for men and is suitable for layering over t-shirts, fleeces, or thermal base layers depending on the weather conditions. It pairs well with hiking trousers and waterproof boots.
