Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best performance from your Trabuco 14, follow these guidelines:
- Fit Check: Ensure the midfoot lockdown feels snug but not restrictive. The wider forefoot should allow for natural toe splay.
- Lace Management: Always tuck your laces into the integrated tongue lace band to avoid debris catching.
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud with a soft brush after each hike. If the shoes become very dirty, hand-wash them with mild soap and cold water; do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Drying: Allow the shoes to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators or sunlight, which can degrade the midsole cushioning.
- Replacement: Monitor the outsole traction pattern; once the rubber lugs show significant wear or smoothing, traction on technical terrain will decrease significantly.
