Product Information

Full details

The Regatta Hurdle Insulated Jacket is designed for active kids who need reliable protection during outdoor play in unpredictable weather. Featuring Isotex 10000 waterproof and breathable fabric paired with Thermoguard insulation, it keeps children warm and dry without feeling bulky. While the high-tech fabric offers exceptional weather resistance, caregivers should note that the fixed hood design offers less adjustability compared to detachable versions.

FAQs

Is this jacket suitable for deep winter?

It is designed for active use in cool to cold conditions. For extreme sub-zero temperatures, we recommend layering with a fleece underneath.

Can I put this jacket in the tumble dryer?

It is generally best to air dry to protect the waterproof membranes and insulation loft.

Does the hood adjust?

The jacket features a fixed elasticated hood designed to provide a snug fit against wind and rain.

What is the age range for the internal address label?

The internal address label feature is included in sizes up to 8 years.

How do I know which size to choose?

Regatta sizes correspond to the child's age, but it is always best to check the chest and height measurements if the child is between sizes.

Troubleshooting

Water is soaking through the outer fabric

The DWR finish may have worn off. Clean the garment and apply a spray-on or wash-in re-waterproofing treatment.

Zip is sticking or hard to move

Check for fabric caught in the teeth. Gently clean any debris or dirt from the zip track using a soft brush.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of the jacket, keep the following care instructions in mind:

Cleaning: Machine wash on a gentle cycle using a technical cleaner or mild soap. Avoid biological detergents and fabric softeners, as these can strip the water-repellent finish.
Drying: Air dry naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the synthetic insulation.
Maintenance: If the water starts to soak into the outer fabric rather than beading up, use a standard DWR (Durable Water Repellent) spray to rejuvenate the waterproofing.
Storage: Hang the jacket in a cool, dry place to maintain the shape of the insulation and ensure it is ready for the next outing.
