Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
This hob is designed for built-in installation. Ensure your countertop has the correct cut-out dimensions for a 60cm hob (installation compartment width: 56cm, depth: 49cm max). It requires a dedicated electrical connection with a load of 6000W and a current of 18A. Professional installation is recommended to ensure proper electrical connection and integration with your kitchen cabinetry.
Compatibility:
This ceramic hob is compatible with all types of cookware that have a flat base suitable for ceramic hobs. Avoid using cookware with warped or uneven bases, as this can affect heating efficiency. Ensure cookware bases are clean before placing them on the hob.
Care and Maintenance:
- Daily Cleaning: Allow the hob to cool completely. Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent to wipe away spills and food residue. For stubborn marks, a specialized ceramic hob cleaner can be used.
- Stubborn Stains: For burnt-on food, use a scraper designed for ceramic hobs, holding it at a low angle to gently lift the residue. Always ensure the hob is cool before scraping.
- Avoid Abrasives: Do not use abrasive sponges, scouring pads, or harsh chemical cleaners, as these can scratch or damage the ceramic glass surface.
- Residual Heat: Always check the Residual Heat Indicator lights before cleaning to ensure the zones are cool.
