FAQs

Can I use cast iron pans on this hob?

How do I activate the child lock?

Consult your specific installation manual provided with the device; typically, this involves holding the lock symbol on the touch panel for several seconds.

Does the hob come with a plug?

No, this appliance is designed for direct hardwired installation into your kitchen's electrical circuit.

What is the total width of the unit?

The hob is 590mm wide, designed for standard 60cm wide worktop units.

Can I use the boost function on all zones simultaneously?

Troubleshooting

Touch controls are unresponsive

Ensure the control panel is clean and dry. Moisture or debris can interfere with touch sensitivity.

Hob turns off automatically

This may be due to the automatic power-off safety feature or an activation of the over-spillage sensor. Wipe the control area dry and restart.

Residual heat indicator remains on

This is a normal safety feature. The light will remain illuminated until the surface temperature drops to a safe level.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Installation: This unit is designed for a standard 56cm x 49cm cut-out in your worktop. Ensure the surface is level and heat-resistant. It requires a hardwired connection to a 220-240V power supply by a qualified professional.

Cookware Compatibility: Use pans with flat, heavy-duty bases to ensure maximum contact with the ceramic glass. Avoid pans with rough or uneven bottoms, as these can scratch the surface.

Cleaning and Maintenance: Always allow the hob to cool completely before cleaning. Use a specialized ceramic hob scraper for stubborn burnt-on food and a non-abrasive glass cleaner or soft cloth for routine wiping. Avoid using harsh scouring pads or chemicals that could mar the black finish.
