The New Balance Numeric 340 is a versatile, low-profile trainer designed for skaters and everyday wearers who value a balance of durability and minimalist style. Featuring a suede upper and a specialized vulcanized sole, these shoes offer excellent board feel and impact protection, though their streamlined design means they provide less arch support than specialized athletic running shoes.

No, the Numeric 340 is designed primarily for skateboarding and casual wear, lacking the technical support needed for long-distance running.
No, the suede upper is not waterproof and should be protected with a suede-safe water repellent spray if used in wet conditions.
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth periodically to remove dust and dirt that can cause slipping.
Yes, the insoles are generally removable, allowing you to insert custom orthotics if preferred.
The polyurethane (PU) wedge provides essential shock absorption for the heel, reducing impact stress during high-impact activities like skateboarding.
Use a suede brush or a dry, soft-bristle toothbrush to gently lift the fibers of the material.
Wear the shoes for a short period to allow the natural heat from your feet to soften the vulcanized rubber.
Remove the insole after heavy use and allow the shoe to air dry in a well-ventilated area.
For the best fit, ensure you are wearing the appropriate thickness of socks to complement the low-profile design. When cleaning, avoid submerging the suede in water as this can damage the texture and color. Use a dedicated suede brush to remove loose dirt and dry debris. For stubborn stains, utilize a specialized suede cleaner and apply with a soft-bristled brush, always allowing the shoes to air dry away from direct heat sources to prevent the material from hardening.
