Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely. Slide your foot into the boot, ensuring your heel is comfortably seated in the back.
- Adjust Fit: Start tightening the laces from the bottom upwards. Ensure the boot feels snug and secure around your foot, but not uncomfortably tight. The lace closure system allows for a personalized fit, so take your time to get it right.
- Break-In Period: Like most new football boots, a short break-in period during light training sessions is recommended to allow the materials to adapt to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
- Playing Surface: These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches. This means natural grass fields that are dry and firm. Using them on artificial turf (AG) or soft/wet ground (SG) can reduce performance, increase the risk of injury, and may damage the boots.
- Age Group: Designed for kids/young athletes, ensuring appropriate support and fit for developing feet.
Care
Proper care extends the life and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning After Use: After each use, remove loose dirt and mud from the upper and sole using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals.
- Wipe Down: Gently wipe the coated textile upper with a damp cloth to remove any remaining grime. The synthetic sole can also be wiped clean.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees or stuffing with newspaper can help maintain their shape and absorb moisture.
- Avoid Machine Washing: Do not put your boots in a washing machine, as this can severely damage the materials and construction.
