Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Heat Holders last through many winters, follow these care guidelines:
- Compatibility: Note that these socks are thicker than standard apparel. Ensure you have adequate room in your footwear, as cramming them into tight shoes can reduce their thermal effectiveness by compressing the air-trapping fibers.
- Washing: Machine wash on a warm cycle (up to 40°C). Avoid bleaching or dry cleaning to maintain the integrity of the thermal yarn.
- Drying: Air dry whenever possible. If you must use a tumble dryer, choose a low heat setting to prevent damage to the cushioned loops.
- Storage: Keep them stored in a dry place. Since they are designed for performance, try to avoid wearing them on rough surfaces without shoes to prevent premature wear on the heel and toe areas.
