Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: Unroll the rug in your desired location. Due to its plush nature, it may take some time for the rug to lay completely flat. Using a rug pad underneath is highly recommended for added cushioning, stability, and to prevent sliding. Ensure the rug pad is the same size or slightly smaller than the rug.
Compatibility: This rug is designed for indoor use. It is compatible with most floor types, including hardwood, tile, and laminate. For use on wall-to-wall carpeting, a non-slip rug pad is essential to prevent movement.
Care:
- Vacuuming: Vacuum regularly on a low pile setting without a beater bar to maintain the pile's texture. For deeper cleaning, use a canister vacuum with a hose attachment.
- Spot Cleaning: For minor spills, immediately blot the affected area with a clean, dry cloth. Avoid rubbing.
- Machine Washing: For a thorough clean, the rug can be machine washed on a delicate cycle using cold water. Ensure your washing machine can accommodate the rug's size and weight.
- Drying: Flat dry the rug. Do not put it in a dryer, as heat can damage the fibers. Lay it flat in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
- Professional Cleaning: For heavily soiled rugs or if machine washing is not feasible, professional cleaning is an option.
