Yes, they generally fit true to size. If you prefer a wider fit or like to wear thicker socks, some users recommend going up a half size.
No. Machine washing can damage the leather, melt adhesives, and ruin the structure of the shoe. Always clean by hand.
While based on a basketball classic, this is currently marketed as a lifestyle/casual sneaker. It lacks the modern performance technology found in dedicated court shoes.
Prevention is key. Use a water and stain repellent spray suitable for leather before your first wear and clean them after any outdoor use.
The tongue is crafted from nylon, providing a lightweight and comfortable fit consistent with the 1985 design.
Use a specialized sneaker eraser or a clean white cloth with a tiny amount of leather cleaner to gently buff out the mark.
Creasing is a natural result of the leather used in this model; use shoe trees when not wearing the trainers to help maintain their shape.
Regularly wipe the soles with a mild detergent solution to prevent dirt buildup that leads to long-term discoloration.
Because the shoe features an all-white leather construction, care is essential. To maintain the finish, wipe down the leather with a soft, damp cloth after each use to prevent dust from settling into the grain. For deeper cleaning, use a specialized leather-safe sneaker cleaner and a soft-bristled brush, ensuring you do not soak the material. Always allow the sneakers to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack. Store them in a cool, dry place to prevent yellowing of the sole or discoloration of the white leather.
