FAQs

Is the Moncler Sesie waterproof?

It is water-repellent, meaning it protects against light rain and mist, but it is not fully waterproof for heavy downpours.

How do I attach or detach the hood?

The hood features a secure snap or zipper attachment system along the collar; check the interior collar seam to release the fasteners.

Can I machine wash this jacket?

It is generally recommended to dry clean the item to maintain the structural integrity of the goose down and the exterior fabric.

What is the filling percentage?

The jacket is filled with 90% goose down and 10% feathers.

Does it have an internal pocket?

The jacket features external snap-button pockets and side slit pockets for functional storage.

Troubleshooting

Down feathers poking through fabric

Gently pull the feather back into the garment from the inside rather than pulling it out, then rub the area with your fingers to reseal the weave.

Jacket lost its loft/fluffiness

Tumble dry on a very low heat setting with clean tennis balls to redistribute the down filling.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure the longevity of your Sesie jacket, proper maintenance is essential.

Care Instructions:

Cleaning: Always follow the care label. Due to the goose down filling, professional dry cleaning is highly recommended to prevent the down from clumping.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Avoid compressing the jacket in a vacuum bag for long periods, as this can degrade the loft of the down.
Maintenance: If the jacket gets wet, shake it out and hang it to dry away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can damage the synthetic outer shell or the down feathers.
