FAQs

Are these loafers true to size?

Yes, the Moda In Pelle Fumia series is designed to be true to size for a standard adult UK fit.

Can I wear these for long walks?

The ultra-flexible outsole is designed for comfort, making them suitable for moderate walking, though they are primarily casual fashion shoes.

How do I clean the animal print parts?

Gently wipe the area with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could fade the pattern.

What is the height of the heel?

The heel is a practical, flat 3cm.

Is the material genuine leather?

Yes, the Fumia loafer is constructed with a high-quality leather upper.

Can these be worn in the rain?

While leather is durable, it is best to avoid excessive exposure to water. If they do get wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources.

Troubleshooting

Leather feels stiff upon initial wear

Wear the shoes indoors for short periods with thicker socks to gently break in the leather.

Surface scuffs appearing on the leather

Apply a matching black leather cream or polish to buff out minor marks.

Foot slipping inside the shoe

Consider using a slim leather or gel heel grip to ensure a more secure fit.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Flexible construction promotes natural walking movement
Lightweight feel prevents foot fatigue during all-day wear

Not intended for heavy-duty outdoor or wet-weather conditions
Animal-print details may show scuffs if not carefully managed

Setup, Compatibility & Care

The Fumia loafers are designed to be true to size, so your standard UK size should provide an immediate comfortable fit. For optimal care, it is recommended to use a high-quality leather cleaner and conditioner to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the integrity of the leather and the animal-print accents. A soft-bristled brush can be used to remove surface dust before wiping with a damp cloth.
