Yes, the plisse fabric typically offers natural give due to the pleating, providing a comfortable and forgiving fit.
It is not recommended to iron the dress directly, as this will flatten the textured pleats. Use a steamer on a low setting if necessary.
Store the dress on a hanger to prevent the pleats from becoming crushed or misshapen.
Yes, the elegant texture and cut make it appropriate for evening events when paired with the right accessories.
Yes, the Tilly range is available in several colors including Black, Blue, Green, and Pink, often with different patterns like Polka Dot or Abstract designs.
Gently steam the garment from a distance, or hang it in a bathroom while running a hot shower to allow the natural tension of the pleats to reset.
Consider styling with a slim belt at the waist to cinch the silhouette or consult a professional tailor to adjust the hemline without damaging the delicate plisse fabric.
To ensure your Never Fully Dressed Tilly Plisse Dress retains its characteristic pleats and shape, proper care is essential. It is highly recommended to follow the garment's specific wash care labels found inside the dress. Due to the nature of plisse fabric, avoid high-heat tumble drying or aggressive ironing, as these actions can flatten the pleats permanently. Instead, hang the dress to dry in a shaded area away from direct sunlight. When storing, hanging the garment on a padded hanger is ideal to keep the silhouette intact and prevent unwanted creasing.
