FAQs

Is this cardigan machine washable?

While the knit is durable, we recommend a cool, gentle cycle to preserve the softness of the fabric.

How long is the cardigan?

The length is approximately 54cm.

Does it fit true to size?

Yes, it is designed with a regular fit; we recommend choosing your standard UK dress size.

Can I wear this over a collared shirt?

Absolutely, the crew neckline is designed to sit comfortably over most shirt collars.

What material is it made from?

It is crafted from a soft, comfortable knit fabric designed for year-round wear.

Troubleshooting

Visible pilling on the fabric surface

Use a fabric shaver or a sweater comb to gently remove pills without pulling the yarn.

Garment losing shape

Wash according to label instructions and always dry flat on a towel rather than tumble drying.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Timeless design suitable for both professional and casual settings
Easy to pair with skirts, trousers, and dresses
Soft-to-the-touch fabric ensures all-day comfort
Ribbed accents prevent the hem and cuffs from stretching out over time

Cons

Shorter length (54cm) may not provide full coverage for all individuals
Requires careful washing to maintain the integrity of the knit
Limited to specific aesthetic styles

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To keep your Roman cardigan in pristine condition, always consult the internal care label. Due to the knit construction, it is recommended to wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water to prevent pilling or shrinkage. Avoid hanging the garment on a wire hanger, as this can distort the shoulder shape; instead, fold the cardigan flat to store. It is compatible with a wide range of sizes; ensure you select the UK size that aligns with your measurements for the best regular-fit experience.
