Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are securely tied using the NEW flat knit yarn closure for an adaptable and snug fit. Adjust lacing tension to your personal comfort, paying attention to the UThroat area for midfoot security.
- Break-in: Like all high-performance football boots, a short break-in period is recommended. Wear them for light training sessions before competitive matches to allow the Performance FitKnit™ upper and adaptive sockliner to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility:
These boots feature an FG (Firm Ground) soleplate. This means they are specifically designed for optimal performance on natural grass pitches that are firm and dry. Using them on artificial turf (AG), soft ground (SG), or extremely hard surfaces may reduce performance, increase wear, and potentially lead to injury. Always match your boot type to the playing surface.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, clean dirt and debris from the upper and soleplate using a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the synthetic upper or cushioning.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources (like radiators or direct sunlight), as this can cause materials to shrink or crack.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally with newspaper stuffed inside to absorb moisture and help maintain their shape. Keep them away from extreme temperatures.
- Inspection: Regularly inspect studs and soleplate for wear and tear to ensure continued grip and stability.
