The Regatta Altoro Thermal Padded Jacket is a versatile winter layer designed for adult men who need reliable protection during cold-weather outdoor activities. Featuring high-performance waterproof and windproof stretch fabric paired with premium feather-free recycled insulation, it excels at keeping the wearer warm and dry in harsh conditions; however, its technical design is specifically optimized for performance, which may feel slightly more structured than casual daily outerwear.

Yes, it can be machine washed on a gentle cycle, but avoid fabric softeners and harsh chemicals.
The jacket provides excellent insulation, but for extreme cold, we recommend a layering system with a fleece or thermal base layer underneath.
No, the technical hood is integrated into the jacket design for superior weather protection.
No, it uses high-performance feather-free recycled synthetic insulation.
The jacket follows standard sizing; for layering, some users prefer to size up, but the stretch fabric allows for a comfortable fit in your standard size.
The Durable Water Repellent (DWR) coating may have worn off. Apply a specialized DWR spray treatment to the exterior fabric after washing.
Ensure the ventilation areas are not restricted and consider layering with moisture-wicking synthetic base layers rather than cotton.
The Altoro Thermal Padded Jacket is designed as a standalone outer layer. For optimal performance, ensure the zippers are fully closed and the hood is adjusted to fit your head shape before heading into high winds. To care for the jacket, machine wash on a gentle cycle with a mild technical detergent suitable for waterproof garments. Avoid using fabric softeners, as they can degrade the water-resistant coating. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry to maintain the integrity of the recycled synthetic insulation and the waterproof membrane.
