The MET Trenta 3K Carbon Mips® is a high-performance road helmet designed for elite cyclists, earning victories at the Tour de France and prestigious monuments. Engineered to enhance comfort and save energy with every pedal stroke, it represents our most advanced road cycling helmet to date. This version is upgraded with Mips AIR®, the lightest and most advanced rotational management system available. Key Technologies: - 3K Carbon Technology: Features an embedded carbon fibre cage that significantly enhances the shell's performance and reduces EPS foam density by 20% without compromising energy absorption, setting a new benchmark for ventilated helmet design. - NACA Vent: Inspired by NASA technology, this front inlet harnesses the Venturi effect to create constant airflow, expelling warm air through strategically placed exhaust ports to maintain optimal temperature without increasing drag. - Rear Deflectors: A flat, 25° inclined rear deflector incorporates two wide exhaust ports, optimizing airflow when riding in an aggressive, drops position. - Tube-Shaped Tail: The aerodynamic Kamm tail design works in conjunction with the NACA vent and rear deflector to effectively channel airflow, developed through extensive wind-tunnel testing. - Limited Head Contact Surface: Only 30% of the head contacts the helmet, allowing the remaining 70% to benefit from optimized airflow through internal cavities, ensuring superior ventilation. - Sunglasses Ports: Dedicated ports with rubberised grips provide secure storage for sunglasses when not in use. Fit System: - MET Safe-T Orbital: A 360° adjustable head belt with 4 vertical and 2 occipital adjustment positions offers a highly personalized fit. It is also ponytail compatible. MIPS AIR® - Brain Protection System: MET prioritizes safety, integrating the lightest and most advanced rotational management system, Mips AIR®, into the padding. Developed to minimize rotational energies transferred to the head during angular impacts, Mips AIR® allows 10-15mm of relative movement between the energy-absorbing layer and the padding, enhancing protection and reducing weight. Product Specifications: - In-mould polycarbonate shell with EPS liner - Air Lite straps with adjustable dividers for aerodynamic efficiency and comfort - 19 Vents with internal air channeling for improved ventilation and comfort - Reflective rear decals for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions - Includes a helmet soft bag - Certifications: CE, AS/NZS, US
