FAQs

Can I wear this for competitive racing?

This top is designed for performance training. While it is excellent for regular practice and fitness swimming, competitive racing often requires specialized technical suits.

How do I switch the strap style?

The straps are designed to be manually reconfigured by unhooking them from the loops and re-threading them into your desired cross-back, halter, or shoulder position.

Is the fabric chlorine-resistant?

Yes, Speedo performance swimwear is designed to withstand the effects of chlorine to ensure durability during regular pool sessions.

How should I choose my size?

This product follows standard UK sizing. The XL size corresponds to a UK 16; please refer to our sizing chart to match your measurements accurately.

Can this be machine washed?

We recommend hand washing in cool water to extend the life of the fabric and the elasticity of the straps.

Troubleshooting

Straps feel loose during swimming

Ensure that the strap hooks are fully engaged and that you have tightened the adjustable elements to provide a secure fit against your frame.

Fabric feels stiff after pool use

Chlorine buildup often causes fabric stiffness. Rinse the bikini top thoroughly with fresh, cold water immediately after leaving the pool and consider using a gentle swimwear detergent.

Pros and Cons

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To configure your straps, simply unhook or adjust the connectors according to your preferred style: cross-back, halter, or standard over-the-shoulder. Ensure that the straps are tensioned evenly to prevent the bikini top from shifting during use.

Care instructions include rinsing the bikini top in cool, fresh water immediately after every use to remove chlorine, salt, or sunscreen. Avoid wringing the fabric out harshly, as this can damage the elastic; instead, gently press out excess water and lay it flat to dry in a shaded area. Do not iron, bleach, or tumble dry the garment to maintain its performance properties.
