Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
Installation of the Sterling Arlie Designer Radiator should be performed by a qualified plumber or heating engineer to ensure proper connection to your central heating system. The radiator comes with wall fixings, brackets, a blanking plug, and a bleed plug. Ensure you have purchased compatible radiator valves separately. Follow the included instructions for mounting the brackets securely to the wall and connecting the radiator.
Compatibility:
This radiator is designed for all standard UK central heating systems, including combi boilers, conventional tank-fed systems, and systems using thermostatic radiator valves (TRVs). It has a maximum operating pressure of 4 bar. The pipe centres are 860mm, which should be confirmed against your existing pipework or planned installation layout.
Care:
To maintain the radiator's appearance and performance:
- Cleaning: Wipe the surface regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they can damage the anthracite powder coating.
- Bleeding: Periodically bleed the radiator using the included bleed plug and a radiator key to release any trapped air, ensuring optimal heat output.
- Maintenance: Ensure the brackets remain secure and check for any signs of leaks around the valve connections.
