FAQs
What is the recommended inflation pressure for this football?
While specific PSI is not listed, inflate the ball until it is firm to the touch but still has a slight give. Over-inflation can damage the ball.
Is this ball suitable for professional matches?
This ball is designed for training and casual play. For professional matches, FIFA-approved match balls are typically recommended.
How does the debossed groove technology work?
The grooves are designed to channel airflow over the ball's surface, reducing drag and stabilizing its flight path for greater accuracy.
What does 'T90' stand for?
T90 refers to Nike's 'Total 90' series, which was a popular line of football boots and equipment known for performance and innovation.
Can I use this ball in wet conditions?
Yes, the ball can be used in wet conditions, but it's important to clean and dry it thoroughly afterward to maintain its condition and prevent damage to the finish.
What is the difference between Size 3, 4, and 5 footballs?
Size 3 is the smallest, typically for children aged 8 and under. Size 4 is for ages 8-12. Size 5 is the standard adult size.
Troubleshooting
Ball is not inflating properly.
Ensure the inflation needle is fully inserted into the valve and that the pump is functioning correctly. Check the valve for any obstructions.
Ball appears to be losing air.
Check the valve for leaks. If the issue persists after proper inflation, there may be a puncture or a faulty valve.
Ball shape seems inconsistent.
Ensure the ball has been inflated to the correct pressure. If the ball has been stored deflated for an extended period, allow it some time after inflation to regain its shape.
Metallic finish is scuffed or peeling.
This is a common aesthetic issue with metallic finishes, especially after heavy use. Clean gently with a damp cloth. For significant scuffing, minor touch-ups might be possible with appropriate, non-abrasive paints, but functional performance is not affected.
