Product Information

Full details

The Scorpion EXO-491 Pirate is a versatile and rational full-face helmet, designed for daily riders. It's a successor to the popular EXO-490, featuring advanced functions. The helmet utilizes Scorpion’s multi-layer EPS and a ram-air vent system for substantial airflow. It comes with a MaxVision® face shield for a wider field of view and a Kwikwick® C moisture-wicking, removable, and washable liner. A built-in SpeedView® drop-down sun visor adds to its convenience. The shell is constructed from a polycarbonate composite material, tested in a wind tunnel for a low-noise and streamlined design for maximum comfort. It includes an EPS-lined chin bar for added protection and an automatic micrometric chin strap buckle for quick release and precise adjustment. The SpeedView™ feature offers an internal retractable visor for instant eye relief in changing light conditions. Key features include a Polycarbonate shell, Ellip-Tec™ quick-change visor, Pinlock MaxVision™ readiness, Speedview™ sun visor, Kwickwick C™ lining, Kwikfit™ eyewear compatibility, a micrometric buckle, and ECE 22.06 homologation. Ellip-Tec™ allows for easy, secure, tool-less visor changes in seconds.
