FAQs
Will this fit a full-size tour staff bag?
No, the Alpha Slim is designed for stand and hybrid golf bags. It is too small for large tour-sized bags.
Can I fit golf shoes inside the cover?
There is an external zippered pocket for essentials, but space for shoes inside the main compartment is limited depending on the size of your golf bag.
Does it have wheels?
No, this is a lightweight, carry-style travel cover designed to be carried or used with its reinforced skid plate.
Are the zippers lockable?
Yes, the zippers are lock-compatible, allowing you to add your own padlock for increased security.
Is the material waterproof?
The recycled ballistic polyester provides significant water resistance to keep your gear dry during transport in rain.
Troubleshooting
Difficulty zipping the cover over a bulky bag
Loosen the internal compression straps, place the bag, and zip the cover halfway before tightening the straps again to create a better fit.
Bag feels unstable during transport
Ensure the internal compression system is pulled tight enough to cinch the golf bag firmly against the base of the cover.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Lightweight and slim profile for easier handling
- High-quality, durable recycled ballistic polyester material
- Reinforced bottom section for extra protection against bumps
- Internal straps keep gear secure and prevent rattling
- Easy to collapse and store in tight spaces
Cons
- Not suitable for large staff or tour-sized golf bags
- Slim design leaves little room for extra gear like shoes
- Requires careful packing to maximize space for larger stand bags
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To set up, simply unzip the main compartment, place your golf bag inside, and tighten the internal compression straps until the bag feels firmly secured. For compatibility, this cover is best suited for most stand and hybrid golf bags; verify your bag dimensions if you use an oversized carry bag.
To clean, wipe the recycled ballistic polyester with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals that might degrade the water-resistant coating. Ensure the cover is completely dry before folding it for long-term storage to prevent mildew buildup.
