Fill a basin with cool water and a small amount of mild detergent. Submerge the jacket and gently agitate the water. Squeeze the soapy water through the fabric, but avoid harsh scrubbing. Rinse thoroughly with clean, cool water until all soap is gone. Gently press out excess water without wringing.
The filling is a blend of 90% down and 10% goose feathers, with an additional 100% polyester filling for structure.
No, this jacket is strictly hand wash only. Machine washing can damage the down filling and the fabric.
The '6-9 months' size is suitable for babies typically aged between 6 and 9 months old.
The product description does not specify if the hood is detachable. It is listed as a feature, suggesting it is integrated.
The care instructions provided are for the entire garment, which is hand wash only. The polyester lining does not require separate specific care.
The main filling is 90% down and 10% goose feathers. There is also a separate 100% polyester filling mentioned, likely for padding or structure.
This can happen with down fillings. Gently fluff the jacket while it is still slightly damp, or use a low-heat dryer with tennis balls to help break up clumps and restore loft.
Ensure there is no fabric caught in the zipper. You can try applying a small amount of graphite (from a pencil tip) or a specialized zipper lubricant to the teeth.
Address stains immediately with a damp cloth and mild soap. For tougher stains, spot clean carefully according to the hand-wash instructions.
This jacket requires no setup upon arrival; it is ready to be worn. It is designed for infants and is compatible with typical baby clothing layers underneath.
