FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for everyday road running?
While wearable on roads, they are optimized for off-road trails and may feel stiffer and heavier than dedicated road running shoes.
How do I ensure the best fit?
The Nike ACG Pegasus Trail follows standard sizing; ensure there is a thumb's width of space between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.
Are these waterproof?
The upper is designed to protect against debris, but it is not marketed as a fully waterproof shoe.
Can I use these for hiking?
Yes, their rugged construction makes them an excellent choice for light hiking and fast-paced trekking on uneven terrain.
What is the best way to store them?
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the foam cushioning.
Troubleshooting
Accumulated mud in the outsole tread
Once the mud is completely dry, use a stiff-bristled brush or gently tap the shoes together to dislodge debris from the grip patterns.
Upper material appearing dull or dusty
Wipe the surface with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh chemicals that may degrade the protective coating of the upper.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Nike ACG Pegasus Trail trainers, follow these guidelines. As these are technical trainers, ensure you have selected your correct UK size 7 for optimal support. When caring for the shoes, avoid machine washing, which can damage the cushioning properties of the midsole. Instead, remove excess mud by tapping the outsoles together after they have dried, and clean the uppers using a soft-bristled brush and mild soapy water. Always air dry your shoes away from direct heat sources to prevent the materials from warping or becoming brittle.
