FAQs
How do I clean my Hot Tuna Cloggs?
You can easily clean your Cloggs with a soft damp cloth to wipe away dirt. For a more thorough cleaning, hand wash them with mild soap and water, then allow them to air dry completely.
Are these Cloggs suitable for water activities?
Yes, they are ideal for beach days and post-swim relaxation, thanks to their easy-to-clean material and breathable design. However, they are not designed for extensive use as swimming shoes or for very slippery underwater environments.
Can the fit be adjusted?
Absolutely. The Hot Tuna Cloggs feature a moveable strap. You can wear it behind your heel for a more secure fit or push it forward for a relaxed, slip-on style.
What is the purpose of the ventilated ports?
The ventilated ports are designed to promote airflow, keeping your feet cool and fresh. This feature enhances comfort, especially during warm weather or extended wear.
Do these Cloggs provide arch support?
The Cloggs are designed with a contoured footbed for general comfort and support with every step. While they offer good comfort for casual wear, they do not provide specialized or orthopedic arch support.
Are these Cloggs true to size?
The Hot Tuna Cloggs are generally designed to fit true to size. We recommend selecting your usual shoe size for the best fit. If you are between sizes, consider ordering the next size up for comfort.
Troubleshooting
My Cloggs feel too loose or too tight.
Adjust the moveable strap. Pull it behind your heel for a more secure fit, or push it forward over the top of the clog for a relaxed, slip-on feel. Ensure your foot sits properly in the contoured footbed.
My feet are sweating or feel hot.
The Hot Tuna Cloggs feature ventilated ports designed for breathability. If you experience excessive heat, ensure your feet are clean and dry before wearing. These are best suited for warm, casual environments.
My Cloggs look dirty or have stains.
Clean them promptly with a soft damp cloth. For tougher dirt, hand wash with mild soap and water, then allow to air dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
I hear a squeaking sound when I walk.
This can sometimes occur if there's moisture between your foot and the footbed. Try ensuring your feet are dry before wearing. If the squeak persists, a light dusting of talcum powder inside the clog might help, or ensure the cloggs are completely dry after cleaning.
