FAQs
How do I know which size to purchase?
Always rely on the BR/EU size equivalent provided in the product description rather than the number stamped on the sole of the flip flop.
Can these be machine washed?
We recommend hand washing with mild soap and water to avoid damaging the rubber material or the strap attachments.
Are these suitable for children who have just started walking?
Yes, the elastic heel strap and non-slip rubber sole provide the stability and security needed for babies taking their first steps.
Where are these flip flops made?
These are 100% manufactured in Brazil, ensuring the original quality Havaianas is known for.
Is the material safe for sensitive baby skin?
Havaianas uses high-quality, synthetic rubber that is soft and durable, designed specifically for comfort, though please monitor for any signs of skin irritation.
Troubleshooting
Heel strap is too tight or digging into the heel.
Ensure the elastic is not twisted. If discomfort persists, check that the foot is positioned correctly in the center of the footbed.
Sandal feels slippery when wet.
While the sole is non-slip, ensure the footbed is wiped clean of sand or mud, which can create a slick layer between the baby's foot and the rubber.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience, use the BR/EU size conversion chart provided by the retailer, as the size printed on the footbed may differ from standard UK/US sizing labels. No setup is required; simply adjust the heel strap to ensure a snug fit. To care for your Havaianas, hand wash them in lukewarm water using a mild, ph-neutral soap. Use a soft brush or sponge to remove debris, and always air dry away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity and flexibility of the rubber. Avoid using harsh chemicals or machine washing, as high heat and detergents can compromise the material's durability.
