Product Information

Full details

The Puma Future 8 Ultimate FG football boots are designed for adult male players who prioritize creativity and expressive play on firm ground pitches. Their key benefit lies in providing an exceptionally adaptive and supportive fit that enhances agility and ball control, allowing players to dictate the game. A minor caveat is their specific suitability for firm ground surfaces only. Key features include a multilayer FUZIONFIT 3 upper for a personalized fit, 3D FUZIONPODS for protection and flexibility, PWRTAPE for lockdown, GripControl Pro for enhanced ball grip, a NanoGrip sockliner for energy transfer, and a 360 Agility soleplate engineered for rotational movement. The upper also incorporates at least 20% recycled materials.

FAQs

What type of playing surface are the Puma Future 8 Ultimate FG boots best for?

These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) pitches, which typically refers to natural grass that is dry and well-maintained.

How do I ensure the best fit with the FUZIONFIT 3 upper?

The FUZIONFIT 3 upper is designed to adapt to your foot. Ensure the laces are adjusted to provide a snug but not overly tight fit. The material will naturally conform to your foot shape with use.

Are these boots suitable for players with wide feet?

The multilayer construction with elastic Lycra aims for an adaptive fit that can accommodate various foot shapes. However, individuals with exceptionally wide feet might find a more specialized wide-fit boot more comfortable.

How does the GripControl Pro finish help my game?

The GripControl Pro finish is applied to the textured mesh upper to enhance friction between the boot and the ball, providing better grip for dribbling, passing, and shooting.

What is the purpose of the 3D FUZIONPODS?

The 3D FUZIONPODS are integrated into the upper to provide protection and structure while allowing the foot to flex naturally, ensuring unrestricted movement and comfort during play.

Can I use these boots on artificial grass?

While FG boots can sometimes be used on artificial grass, their performance and durability may be optimized for natural surfaces. If you primarily play on artificial grass, consider boots specifically designed for that surface (e.g., AG).

How do I clean and maintain the boots?

Clean with a soft brush and a damp cloth, avoiding harsh detergents. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat.

Troubleshooting

Boots feel too tight or uncomfortable initially.

This is common due to the adaptive fit technology. Wear the boots for short periods during training sessions to allow them to mold to your foot shape. Ensure laces are not overly tightened.

Reduced grip on wet or muddy surfaces.

These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) and will perform best on dry pitches. Grip may be compromised on excessively wet or muddy conditions; consider alternative boots designed for softer ground if this is a frequent issue.

Studs feel stiff or offer limited rotation.

Ensure the studs are clean and free from debris. The 360 Agility soleplate is designed for rotational flow, which may become more apparent as the boots break in and the player becomes accustomed to the feel.

  • The advanced fit system may require a short break-in period for optimal comfort.
  • May not provide sufficient cushioning for players who require significant impact absorption.

Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions

Setup:

These boots are ready to wear out of the box. Ensure you have selected the correct size for a snug, performance-oriented fit. The adaptive upper is designed to mold to your foot over time.

Compatibility:

These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. They are best suited for natural grass pitches that are dry and well-maintained, or artificial grass pitches with a longer pile.

Care:

  1. Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or dry cloth. For tougher grime, use a slightly damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or soaking the boots.
  2. Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
  3. Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to maintain their shape and material integrity.
