Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your shoes last, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning: Remove loose mud with a soft-bristled brush after every hike to prevent dirt from grinding into the mesh.
- Drying: Air dry the shoes naturally in a shaded, well-ventilated area. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or campfires, as this can cause the leather to crack or the adhesives to fail.
- Waterproofing Maintenance: While the interior bootie is waterproof, you can apply a leather-safe water repellent treatment to the exterior upper to maintain the longevity of the leather and keep the surface from saturating.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve the integrity of the rubber outsole and midsole foam.
