Product Information
Full details
The Shark RV2900XEUK PowerDetect ThermaCharged Robot is designed for busy households seeking an automated, high-performance cleaning solution. Its key benefit is the self-cleaning and self-refilling base station, offering up to a month of hands-free operation. A potential caveat is its relatively short runtime of 120 minutes on a single charge, which may require multiple cycles for larger homes. This intelligent robot vacuum and mop system features ThermaCharged mop cleaning, automatic debris disposal, Dirt Detect, Floor Detect, and Edge Detect technologies for a comprehensive and efficient clean.

FAQs
How often should I clean the mopping pad?
The ThermaCharged base automatically cleans and dries the mopping pad after each use. For optimal performance and hygiene, it's recommended to wash the pad manually every few uses or when indicated by the app.
Can I use my own cleaning solutions?
It is recommended to use the Shark VACMOP solution or solutions specifically approved by Shark for optimal performance and to avoid damaging the robot or its base station. Using unapproved solutions may void the warranty.
What is the runtime of the robot?
The Shark RV2900XEUK has a runtime of up to 120 minutes on a single charge, allowing it to clean up to 130 m².
How does the robot handle different floor types?
The robot uses Floor Detect technology to automatically adjust suction power when transitioning between hard floors and carpets. It also lifts its mop when detecting carpets during mopping cycles.
What is the capacity of the dustbin and water tank?
The robot has a dust capacity of 0.3 L and a water tank capacity of 0.21 L. The base station also includes larger capacity tanks for debris and water, allowing for extended autonomous operation.
How long does it take to charge the robot?
The robot requires approximately 4 hours to fully charge from empty.
Does the robot map my home?
Yes, the robot uses LiDAR navigation to create a map of your home, allowing for efficient cleaning patterns and enabling features like room selection and no-go zones through the SharkClean app.
What maintenance is required for the base station?
The base station requires periodic emptying of its dirty water tank and replacement of the dustbin liner. Ensure the water refill tank is kept topped up with clean water.
Troubleshooting
Robot not returning to the base station
Ensure the base station is powered on and has sufficient clearance around it. Check for any obstructions blocking the robot's path to the base. Clean the charging contacts on both the robot and the base.
Poor suction power
Check if the dustbin is full and empty it. Clean or replace the washable filter. Inspect the brushes and intake port for any blockages or tangled debris.
Mopping function not effective
Ensure the water tank is filled with clean water and the mopping pad is properly attached and clean. Verify that the correct cleaning solution (if used) is added according to instructions. Check if the mop pad is worn out and needs replacement.
Robot gets stuck frequently
Clear the cleaning area of small objects, cords, and loose rugs. Ensure the NeverStuck Charged Technology is functioning by checking for any damage to the robot's bumpers or sensors. Update the robot's firmware via the app.
Wi-Fi connection issues
Ensure your Wi-Fi network is a 2.4 GHz band. Restart your router and the robot. Re-enter your Wi-Fi credentials in the SharkClean app. Ensure the robot is within range of your Wi-Fi signal.
Robot not cleaning edges or corners thoroughly
Confirm that the Edge Detect technology is enabled in the app settings. Ensure the side brushes are properly installed and spinning correctly. Manually direct the robot to the areas needing attention if necessary.

- Initial setup and app configuration can take time.
- At 67 dB, the noise level might be noticeable in quiet environments.
- The mop pad requires periodic replacement.
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Initial Setup:
- Unpack all components: the robot, the charging base, power cord, side brushes, mopping pad, and cleaning solution.
- Place the NeverTouch Pro Base on a level surface with adequate clearance (at least 10 cm on the sides, 20 cm in front, and 30 cm above).
- Connect the power cord to the base and plug it into a wall outlet.
- Attach the two side brushes to the bottom of the robot.
- Install the mopping pad onto the designated holder.
- Place the robot onto the charging base to initiate charging.
- Download the SharkClean app on your smartphone or tablet and follow the on-screen instructions to connect the robot to your Wi-Fi network and set up your home map.
Compatibility:
- Floor Surfaces: Compatible with hard floors (tile, laminate, wood) and carpets (low to medium pile).
- App Control: Requires a smartphone or tablet with iOS or Android and a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network for advanced features like remote scheduling and mapping.
Care and Maintenance:
- Dustbin: Empty the dustbin regularly if not using the self-empty function, or ensure the base station’s dustbin liner is replaced as needed.
- Filters: The washable fabric filter should be rinsed under cold water and air-dried completely before reinserting. Clean monthly or as needed.
- Mopping Pad: The antimicrobial mopping pad should be cleaned after each use. The ThermaCharged base automatically cleans and dries it, but periodic washing may be necessary.
- Sensors & Brushes: Wipe sensors clean with a dry, soft cloth. Remove any tangled hair or debris from the brushes and wheels regularly.
- Base Station: Ensure the water tanks in the base station are filled with clean water and emptied of dirty water as prompted by the app or indicators.
