When purchasing your new Timberland boots, ensure the fit is snug but allows for movement in the toe box; the leather will naturally stretch and mold to your foot shape over time. To maintain the waterproof capabilities and appearance of the leather, it is recommended to clean them with a soft-bristle brush after exposure to salt or mud. Use a leather conditioner or a specialized protector spray periodically to keep the material supple and maintain the water-repellent finish. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack over time.
