FAQs

Are these containers safe for the air fryer?

Yes, the borosilicate glass is designed to be resistant to thermal shock and is safe for use in the air fryer, though you should always remove the plastic lid first.

Can I put these in the dishwasher?

Yes, both the glass base and the lid are dishwasher safe.

Do I need to leave the lid on when heating in the microwave?

You can leave the lid on, but ensure you pull the air valve up to allow steam to vent safely.

Is the material BPA-free?

Yes, all materials used in these containers are BPA-free and food-safe.

How do I know if the vacuum seal is active?

When the vacuum is active, the center button will remain in a depressed state.

Troubleshooting

Lid is difficult to remove

Ensure the air valve has been pulled up to release the vacuum pressure before lifting the lid.

Seal appears to be leaking

Remove the silicone seal, rinse it, and ensure it is clean and properly seated in the groove of the lid.

Vacuum seal isn't holding

Check the rim of the glass container for any food debris or chips that might prevent an airtight closure.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Excellent airtight vacuum seal maintains food freshness
Highly versatile: safe for oven, air fryer, microwave, and freezer
Durable borosilicate glass prevents staining and odors
Modular design stacks well to save kitchen space
Leak-proof lid prevents spills during commutes

Cons

Glass material is heavier than plastic counterparts
Requires manual operation of the air valve for optimal sealing
Glass can break if dropped on hard surfaces

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To use the vacuum system, place the lid on the container and press the center button to release trapped air, ensuring the silicone seal is properly seated. When opening, pull up on the air valve first to break the seal before attempting to remove the lid. The containers are dishwasher safe; however, for the longest lifespan of the silicone seal, a gentle hand wash is recommended. They are oven and air fryer safe, but avoid placing the lid itself in the oven or under a broiler. Ensure the container reaches room temperature after being in the freezer before placing it directly into a preheated oven to prevent extreme thermal stress.
