The Freefoam Embossed Weatherboard Cladding in Misty Grey is ideal for homeowners and contractors seeking to achieve an authentic New England aesthetic without the maintenance requirements of traditional timber. It provides a lightweight, durable exterior finish that is significantly easier to install than heavy cement boards, though it requires precise planning to ensure correct coverage across your project area.

Each board is 5 metres in length.
One 5-metre length provides an effective coverage of 0.85 square metres.
The board comes pre-finished in Misty Grey and is designed to maintain its color; painting is not required or recommended.
No, it is a low-maintenance product. Occasional washing with soap and water is sufficient.
The product is backed by a 10-year guarantee.
It is significantly lighter (just over 3kg), making it easier to handle and install.
Verify that the sub-frame is level and that each board is fully engaged in the locking profile.
Ensure that fixing points are spaced according to manufacturer guidelines and that sufficient room for thermal expansion is provided.
To ensure proper installation, the cladding should be fixed to a treated timber support framework. Always allow for adequate ventilation behind the boards to prevent moisture accumulation. For cutting, use fine-toothed saws designed for PVC/composite materials to avoid chipping the embossed texture. Cleaning is straightforward: periodically wash the surface with warm soapy water and a soft sponge to remove dust and environmental grime. Avoid abrasive cleaners or pressure washers, as these may damage the embossed detail and the protective finish.
