Product Information

Full details

The Milwaukee PACKOUT Pro Tote is designed for professional tradespeople and serious DIY enthusiasts who require a durable, modular solution for transporting and organizing hand tools on demanding job sites. Its primary benefit is the combination of a rugged, impact-resistant base with an expansive 35-pocket layout, providing both structural protection and highly efficient storage; however, users should note that as an open-top tote, it does not provide weather-sealed protection for tools sensitive to rain or excessive dust.

FAQs

Can this bag fit a drill or impact driver?

Is the bag waterproof?

The base is impact-resistant and keeps tools off wet surfaces, but the top is open and not waterproof.

Does it come with a shoulder strap included?

Yes, the tote includes an ergonomic, adjustable shoulder strap for easier transport.

What is the maximum weight capacity?

The bag is rated for a load capacity of up to 22.7kg.

Can I stack items on top of this tote?

No, this is designed to be the top item in your PACKOUT stack because of its open-top design.

How many pockets does it have?

It features 35 internal and external pockets for organized storage.

Troubleshooting

Base not locking into other PACKOUT units

Ensure the base is free of heavy mud or debris that could obstruct the locking mechanism.

Shoulder strap causing discomfort during long carry

Adjust the strap length to sit higher on the hip and ensure the padded section is centered on your shoulder.

Bag tipping over when placed on uneven ground

Distribute your heavy tools evenly between the left and right sides of the tote to balance the center of gravity.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Modular connectivity with the wider PACKOUT storage ecosystem
Highly durable 1680D and 1800D ballistic material construction
Ample storage capacity with 35 distinct pockets
Robust 22.7kg load capacity suitable for heavy tools
Ergonomic handle and shoulder strap for improved comfort

Cons

Open-top design offers no security or weather protection for interior tools
Size constraints may not fit larger power tools like circular saws
Lacks internal dividers for small parts organization
Weight can become significant when fully loaded

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Setup is straightforward: simply organize your most-used tools into the inner and outer pockets, utilizing the largest compartments for your primary tools and smaller loops for bits or drivers. The bag is fully compatible with all Milwaukee PACKOUT mounting plates and storage units.

To care for your tote, periodically clear debris from the molded base using a damp cloth. If the ballistic fabric becomes heavily soiled, use a soft-bristled brush and mild soap to spot clean, then allow it to air dry completely. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners, as these may degrade the integrity of the ballistic weave over time.
