FAQs

Is the Scion Kasuri rug safe for homes with pets?

Yes, its durable fiber construction and washable nature make it a practical choice for homes with pets.

Can I use this rug in the bathroom?

While it is durable, it is best suited for living spaces, bedrooms, or dining rooms rather than high-moisture bathroom environments.

Does the rug arrive pre-treated for stains?

No, it does not come with a chemical stain-repellent coating. We recommend immediate spot cleaning for spills.

What does OEKO-TEX certification mean for this rug?

It means the rug has been tested and certified to be free from harmful levels of substances that may be hazardous to human health.

Can I tumble dry the rug?

We recommend air-drying the rug after washing to prevent fiber damage and shrinkage.

Is the pattern the same on both sides?

The geometric pattern is designed for the top side only, featuring a specialized backing for stability.

Troubleshooting

Rug edges are curling after unrolling

Lay the rug flat and place heavy, flat objects like books on the corners for 24-48 hours.

Rug slides on hard floors

Apply a dedicated anti-slip rug grip or pad to the underside.

Stubborn stain after washing

Spot clean using a mild detergent and a damp cloth; do not use industrial-strength bleaches.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

Upon receiving your Scion Kasuri rug, unroll it in your desired location and allow it a short period to flatten naturally. To ensure safety and longevity, always pair the rug with a suitable rug grip when using it on hard floor surfaces like wood or vinyl. For maintenance, the rug is fully machine washable; ensure you wash it at a setting not exceeding 30°C to preserve the integrity of the fibers and the geometric print. Regular vacuuming is recommended to remove loose dirt and dust. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners or bleach to maintain the vibrancy of the blue color palette.
