Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure you get the most out of your Brynn Calf Cowboy Boots, follow these guidelines for setup, compatibility, and maintenance.
Initial Setup
- Unpack Gently: Remove boots from packaging, checking for any creases from storage.
- First Wear: Use the inner side zip to open the boot fully. Slide your foot in, ensuring your heel sits comfortably. Zip up carefully, making sure no fabric is caught.
- Check Fit: Walk around to ensure the pointed toe isn't too restrictive and the calf fit is comfortable. Some 'breaking in' might be required for optimal comfort.
Compatibility
- Apparel: Designed to complement a wide range of attire, including denim (skinny, straight, bootcut), dresses (midi, maxi, mini), and various skirt styles.
- Seasons: Best suited for transitional seasons like spring and autumn, and milder winter days. Not recommended for heavy rain or snow due to faux suede material.
Care & Maintenance
Proper care is essential to maintain the look and longevity of your faux suede boots.
- Cleaning: Gently brush off any dry dirt or dust using a soft brush or microfibre cloth. For spots or stains, lightly dampen a clean cloth with water and a small amount of mild faux suede cleaner. *Blot* the stain; do not rub vigorously. Allow to air dry completely away from direct heat.
- Protection: Consider using a faux suede protector spray to help repel water and prevent stains. Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Storage: Store boots upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use boot shapers or crumpled paper to maintain the calf shape and prevent creasing. Keep them in a dust bag if possible.
- Avoid: Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or expose to harsh chemicals. Avoid getting them excessively wet.
