Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your loafers remain in top condition, follow these care guidelines:
- Break-in: Wear your loafers indoors with thin socks for short periods to allow the leather to mold to your feet.
- Cleaning: Wipe the polished uppers with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust. Use a leather conditioner periodically to prevent drying or cracking.
- Storage: Use cedar shoe trees when not in use to help maintain the shape and absorb any moisture from the lining.
- Protection: Apply a leather-safe water repellent spray if you plan to wear them in unpredictable weather, though heavy rain should be avoided to protect the stitching.
